Hi, I'm Bruno.
It's part of my nature to wisely dose creative and business-oriented mindsets. Right at the intersection of innovative tech and liberal arts.
Being solely creative is not sufficient in the realm of product design. It is essential to consider the business aspects as well. This includes understanding the market, competition, business goals, and user needs from a practical standpoint.
With over 15 years of experience working on digital products under my belt, I've learned that the key to a successful product design lies in minimising user effort.
Users want to have their lives simplified in every way possible.
Although that doesn't always mean that speed is key, if there is a low-step and/or efficient way of accomplishing a task, users will be there.
Either by de-cluttering software, changing button colours, moving an object 4px to the right or completely re-defining an onboarding screen flow, there is always a way to keep improving software and deliver what is best for users and the business.
Methodology
Each case is a case. Every product will have its own peculiarities and demands. The process must serve the product needs. It's important to choose whichever method allows for quick and easy iteration and collaboration. These are the pillars that I believe being crucial for great product design and user experience:
Usability Heuristics
Efficiency comes first. Users don't want to figure out how to do things.
Gamification
A set of techniques and resources that has been successfully utilised over the last decade to drive better UX and retention.
Collaborative Spirit
Collaboration builds trust.
